I successfully installed my shiny new RAM. Tiny hands are useful for getting things in place with a lot of wires in the way. Katikabe, it was REALLY simple to install it, I managed it in my fishie seeing state just fine. I'm LOVING how much better my computer is running now. Especially the SIMS! The ridiculag, she is GONE! (Big picture post coming tomorrow, too tired to upload right now)

Text sumamry though! Simon finally got the hint and gave birth to a beautiful green baby girl, who I named Marigold. Then I zipped off to Bob's house so he could marry River. Then I created a family and killed the parents in weird and wonderful ways so Book could start his orphanage. I used the InSimenator so I could actually see Death by Sattelite and Death by Flies. Book has adopted three of the four offspring from that family. He has the two children, a boy named Victor and a girl named Susan, and a little toddler girl named Holly. There's still a little toddler boy named Jason waiting, but the game only allows one adoption a day. The point is, there is an ORPHANAGE on the second floor of Inara's house.

So sleepy. But computer wonderfully not laggy! Joy! Joy!

I'm almost afraid to ask, but how exactly did Simon give birth? Death by Satellite I can see, but Death by Flies mystifies me. Book having an orphanage in Inara's house is awesomeness.

Congrats on the non-laggy computer! :D

Death by satellite is awesome. Drowning in the middle of a room is kind of cool looking, too. Book running an orphanage is funny enough on its own, but in Inara's house it's a million times better. And poor Simon.

I've been testing the Washburne rule now that Katya's fulfilled her lifetime want and can't get pissy at me for making her pregnant, and I've found that it only seems to hold sometimes. She had two kids with two nearly identical mailmen, and one was white and one was black. :-p And the white one wasn't Katya's skintone, it was a custom one. Her kid with Pollination Tech 9 was green, as was expected.

For some reason, Pollination Tech 9 is REALLY popular with teh ladies. Emily and Irina are both swooning over him, too. Elena hates everyone. Except her ass-ugly husband. Heh.

And as for the orphanage, I can just ... imagine the dialogue! Book and Inara are amusing enough without four children under 10 racing about upstairs!

Katya's kids are so geared toward a certain aspiration young, too. I mean, all Alexandra has wanted to do since she was a toddler was increase logic points. And she's the only child I've ever seen who wasted a want slot on a telescope. While poor Ivan is all about having new family members. It's too bad Katya's not related to any family sims.

Alexandra maxed out her logic points before she was a teenager. And she's almost through creativity. She is going to be the scholarship queen. :-p

Also, hopefully the kids don't cry whenever they see Inara at work. :-p One time Alexandra got off the bus and Katya was on the lawn making out with Loki Beaker, and she cried for like an hour and I have no idea why, but Katya's head was in the "cry" icon. :-p

Oh, oh, best nanny story EVER. Katya had the social worker take her first baby away, and you know why? The nanny randomly went home halfway through Katya's shift. :-p
