Me: I want the Cylon toaster. I could make a whole army of Centurion toast and take over Galactica!
Ryan: Saaaaaaassy, priorities.
Me: Sex?
Ryan: EXACTLY! I DO wonder what normal couples talk about.

The so-called normal couples I know talk about agonizingly boring things. Seriously. The last grown-up dinner party thingamabob I couldn't get out of had three of them, and it was several hours of sheer pain. I'd have paid good money to have people like you and Ryan there so I could have had a decent conversation.

That would have been infinitely better than the mundane discussions about real estate and in-laws and oh-so-perfect anniversary trips to Hawaii, I cannot even tell you. I spent the whole night on the edge of the group hoping that no one would try to draw me into the conversation, watching the clock and trying not to facepalm. The memory is terrifyingly vivid.

I wish my RL friends were more like my internet friends. :P
