There was a paper in Science today where the titles on the chart were in COMIC SANS. Science (along with Nature) is THE most prestigious science journal going. And the chart titles were in COMIC FRAKKING SANS.

Date: 2009-06-19 10:28 pm (UTC)My favorite was some charts a guy [who probably has a doctorate, or at least a masters] drew with ball point pen, pencil crayon and high lighters with his own partly legible handwriting, and put in full colour into his expensive textbook.
Production values are apparently not covered at some schools.
