Firefly

1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?

Mi was really into it and kept referencing it in House Cup tasks. Nicky was also into it and sent me the first episode. I quite liked it and discovered that the DVDs are MOST AFFORDABLE.

2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?

I never completely leave fandoms. Even the ones I wish I could quit. So no. :p

3. Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?

War Stories is my favourite, being the OMG ZOE AND WASH episode and all. My other favourites are Ariel and Out of Gas.

4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?

I've written one fic (have a couple I'm toying with), made two fanmixes and play Wash in

glaxcinprison

5. Do you think more people should get into this fandom

It is a thing of wonder, brief though it is.

1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?

Well, my first exposure was singing Seasons of Love in choir. Though story wise I didn't get into it until all my theatre friends were excited about the upcoming movie.

2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?

I don't think I'll ever stop loving Rent, though I've never really been in the fandom, per se.

3. Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?

Well, it's a one movie/stage show. So I'll say my favourite moment is when Angel and Collins are dancing in the street as they sing "I'll Cover You". Mostly because it felt like they were doing it because they were just so happy with each other and not just because they're in a musical and dancing in the street is what you do in a musical.

4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?

Not particularly. I've heard the actual fandom can be quite frightening.

5. Do you think more people should get into this fandom

I definitely think people should see the movie and enjoy the music. I'd still love to actually see the stage show as something other than the super low quality bootleg video I saw.

Battlestar Galactica

1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?

Honestly, I'm not sure why I didn't get into it earlier. I knew a fair number of people who liked it, and it definitely seemed up my alley. Eventually Vicki got into it and was all OMG YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS NOW. And sent me the miniseries. So I OMG WATCHED IT. :p

2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?

Like I said above, I never really leave fandoms. Especially not when I have a full blown OTP, and I've never shipped anything as much as I ship A/R. Not even Zoe/Wash, which I ship PRETTY HARD.

3. Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?

Oh, easy, The Hub. It was such an amazingly done episode. Plus there was THAT SCENE that had me dancing around the room in joy. :p

4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?

Well, I've got a fic and a fanmix on the go for the A/R MOL that I need to hurry up with. And a couple other fics I'm toying with. And I play Bill in Glaxcin. :p

5. Do you think more people should get into this fandom

Heck yeah. FOR THE OLD PEOPLE! The Lauroslin and Papadama Show is a thing of wonder. How many shows have a tough military commander who is a gold medallist at the Affectiolympics? Or a woman who never WANTED to be President, but when it happens decides she had better be AWESOME at it? Or... well, a lot of the best stuff they did with Tigh is spoilery and this is reasons people should get into the fandom, so that wouldn't be very nice of me. But they do some awesome stuff with Tigh. :p
