So apparently the book I just finished doesn't have a sequel. It sure ended like it has one. :p Considering the protaganist's oldest son was still in the clutches of people who trained him to hate the protaganist. And the protaganist was vowing to rescue him. His friends were telling him he was crazy, and he was insisting that he could do it because he had all the right friends.

Apparently Schroedinger thinks bathrooms are scary places people might never come out of. Because she camps out and guards the door until people DO come out. :p Now that she's settled down she really wants to be where the people are. :p She basically gets magnetically attached to laps. Though she'll settle for feet if I inform her she's not allowed on the computer. :p

My cats do that too. Except they come in the bathroom and try to jump in my lap while I'm trying to pee.

Also, Ding likes to try to get in the shower with me. I'm not sure why. She wants to be in the shower, but just out of reach of the water.

My Siri loves bathrooms. I thought it was a little weird, but then it hit me - she grew up in one. She's the daughter of my sister's Ruby (who showed up as a pregnant stray), and after the kittens were born, Mandy kept them behind a baby gate in the master bathroom so they wouldn't get stepped on or manhandled by the kids (who love cats, but were too little to understand how to handle babies). So all Siri's happy childhood memories involve being in a bathroom. It all makes sense now! :p

She seems to like the bathroom (She was playing in the tub today, apparently :p), but she seems to get nervous when the door is closed with someone inside. Maybe she thinks they're simultaneously alive and dead. :p

And it's very weird. I was all "Oh, he's rescuing his wife and kids before the end of the book... hey, WAIT A SECOND!" :p

LOL! I had a cat that used to alternate being hurling himself bodily at the bathroom door, and attempting to dig under it, unless you verbally reassured the cat while you were in there. I have no idea why it panicked him; he was toilet-trained. He knew what everything was for in there. Crazy cat.
