yubsieBecause clearly I hadn't had enough Tess-ship induced trauma, Gwenna and I watched Rent today. We tried to make our brother watch it, but he's no fun. :p But I got to watch Rent and sing along. I was so proud of myself, I never ONCE slipped into "La Vie SLoshed Stu" when singing along with "La Vie Boheme". My brain TRIED to, but the right words always came out. :p Mark so UTTERLY needs a hug. I've said it before, but it bears repeating. :p
The entire movie, Gwenna kept reminding me that she saw it on Broadway. Like I didn't remember. Not that I'm jealous or anything. :p
We keep confusing my mother by quoting Notes on a Fridge. We're going shopping tomorrow, so we keep declaring that "The female of the species acquires consumer goods for bonding purposes." Because we're geeks like that. :p Of course, my mother is confused when we quote Firefly CANON, so quoting Firefly fanfiction is doubly confusing. :p (My father and brother at least recognize the line as being River-esque, even if they don't know what it's from exactly :p)
My brother, incidently, is strange. He keeps fixing his clothes with DUCT TAPE. Needless to say, my mother is getting me to mend things while I'm here. :p
