It's that time of year again! The time when I ask for addresses to send out Christmas cards. And since I seem to actually manage to send them every OTHER year, they should actually get sent this year! I'm planning to write them in the waiting room on Sunday and stop at the post office at the way home so the ones going to not-Canada can actually get stamps.

Sooooo, comments are screened, addresses away! Don't assume I'm with it enough to remember what I did with your address if you think I have it. :p

Hannah's post reminded me that I need to do this! So Christmas cards! Comments on this post are screened, so if you want a card please leave me your address.

Last call for Christmas cards! I'm planning to send them out tomorrow, so make sure you give me your address at This screened post if you want one. ;p

It's blizarding quite badly out right now. Brr cold. For a while I thought the buses had stopped running while I was at church, but the bus showed up about fifteen minutes late. Right around when I was trying to decide whether to call a cab (because clearly THOSE would be running if the buses aren't :p) or walk home for about an hour in a raging blizzard.

I'm in the middle of burning revival Doctor Who for Tessie, so my computer is lagtastic. So I've been writing Christmas cards instead. :p But now I'm out of people to write to, so give me your addresses! :p

DONE!

DONE!

DONEDONEDONE!

Did I mention I'm DONE? :p

Getting the last paper handed in was quite the saga. I had my lightning edit time getting the final copy after the prof's comments together. My printer is basically OUT of toner (not bad for the cartridge I bought in FIRST YEAR :p), and the equations were more or less illegible. So I asked Vicki if I could use her printer. Only trouble is, she has Word and I have Wordperfect, so I had to switch formats. I opened the file and was scrolling down to make sure my page numbers didn't get borked in the conversion when I noticed that all the greek letters in my equations had been replaced with smiley faces and such.

So, umm, couldn't do that. So I had to go buy print credits. Which you can no longer do at Computign Services, where you'd THINK it would be logical. I got to argue with the machine in the library about taking my money. Then I dashed up to the Cragg to print, and noticed that the secretary had left half an hour early, which was going to be a problem for handing things in. I asked Liz if I could get her to hand it in for me tomorrow, and went to print it off. But I kept getting a weird error when I hit print in Wordperfect, and it would only send half the job to the printer. So I tried opening it up in Word, hoping there wouldn't be smiley faces again. I think it must have been font support issues or something, because Word on the SCHOOL computers could deal with my Greek just fine. :p So I printed it off... and realized I didn't have my stapler with me. So I nipped into the lab to use that stapler, but it was out of staples. I went up to see if Dr. Read was still around, since the secretary was gone (We were supposed to hand in to her because Dr. Read is retired and thus not in his office a lot :p), which he fortunately was. So I had to get a paperclip from him and give him the paper.

Oh, and the new glovebox was here, which was terribly exciting. Not that I use the glovebox. :p

Oh, and I've gotten cards from [livejournal.com profile] akeyoftime and [livejournal.com profile] thepodsquad! Thanks guys!

Hot water is WONDERFUL. I actually got a SHOWER this morning! This makes me a VERY happy Ewok. :p

It turns out I actually failed the Organic final before he scaled it which took it to exactly 50%. That was... kinda depressing to find out. I thought I'd done better on it than I had on the midterms. I started some problems, because I really need to make up lost ground in IV.

All this work for a class I don't even WANT to take. :p

I got in my one karate class before the show is over last night, which was fun. I couldn't remember the katta in the SLIGHTEST though. :p Ryan's in the class now, which is exciting. Though he needs to learn that white belts stand up last, because the mass of yellow belts was very excited to have someone standing up AFTER us for a change. :p In the self defense portion, we came to the conclusion that my wrist locks are really not so much with the threatening. ANd that I frequently have to resort to INTERESTING measures to get out of wrist locks.

Tess wins at music finding. I now have a song for the family meeting in Seasons of Mist, so all is well. Never ask her for help with happy music though. She doesn't have any. :p

Oh, I got a Christmas card from [livejournal.com profile] fyredra, which was TERRIBLY exciting. I also got my Ebay order from December. Vertigo Winter's Edge #3. So far I've only read the story I ordered it for, but some of the others look intriguing. Sandman may turn out to be a gateway drug for comics. :p The story was a Desire story, and it was pretty nifty. As a bonus, the art was by the guy who did the art in The Wake, so it was NICE. :D I don't read Sandman for the art, but when it's pretty, it's a bonus. :p

Oh, and I got my Death angst posted over at [livejournal.com profile] ewokese. So now I have the depressed anthropomorphic personification out of my HEAD. :p

Christmas cards from [livejournal.com profile] chlorrel, [livejournal.com profile] wordsgate, [livejournal.com profile] thepodsquad and [livejournal.com profile] orci505 make me a happy Ewok. :D I also have a package, which I assume is my Ebay order, but the bookstore was closed so I couldn't get it.

My cards will be sent out eventually, I swear. :p

Oh, and I now have The Swarm War, because unlike Chapters, Tidewater doesn't suck!
