yubsieIt poured rain today. This was, of course, because it was Frosh Move In day. :p
That means Silly Sammy Ewok is here now. For those of you who don't know, Sammy is my "little sis". :p We went to Joey's with her and Doug for lunch. For the record, a 16 inch pizza and a 16 inch garlic fingers is TOO MUCH FOOD. :p
We got a repairman to look at our door, and it's now usable as a door. So the sign is gone, but the policy still stands: Anyone caught bringing a mug into the house WILL be shot on sight. :p They also put some foam in to deal with the DRAFT OF DOOM.
The rain eventually let up, so we went down to buy school supplies. ANd have ice cream at Sassy's. (Heh heh, Sassy :p)
After supper, we watched the dub of 8-13 of Pretear. So we never have to watch it again. :p As much as I love Sasame, Kei, Goh, Hajime, Mawata, Kaoru and Mayune's voices, that doesn't make up for the fact that Himeno's voice sounds just WRONG and Hayate's actor has NO concept of the character. They dub all the cute right out of him! There's also the whole "SHin's voice makes my EARS bleed" issue, but he doesn't talk much. :p And of course, the pronunctiations are also an issue.
We had fun when Sasame was walking to the angst church singing "Gooooooooooooooing to the chapel and I'm goooooooooonna get a miiiiiiiiiiinion! Gooooooooooooooooooing to the chapel and I'm goooooooooonna get a miiiiiiiiinion! Going to the chapel of angst!"
Yeah, we're such dorks. :p
Tomorrow we have to go to the bookstore so Vicki can get the rest of her textbooks. The idea being to do it before the upperclassmen move into residence and while the frosh are being run all over town. :p
