Aug. 8th, 2005 08:58 pmJust when I think my stuff is done amazing me, it does something downright WEIRD. I did NOT expect this variation to be water soluble. At ALL. This could mean exciting things, pharmaceuticalwise. Though first I have to monitor whether it degrades in water.

The last compound from our lab that got patented was made from the same starting material. Hopefully I'll get a spiffy paper out of this at the very least, which will be incredibly useful when looking for grad schools. :D
