May. 16th, 2005 08:21 pmI've taken to trying to sweet talk our reaction. So far it hasn't worked, but I'm going to keep trying. :p
At least I wasnt't the one talking baby talk to a 25 ml seperatory funnel. (I thought it was cute too, but I didn't talk baby talk to it :p)
In a very ARRRG, MONDAYS! moment, the NMR machine went on the fritz this afternoon. The computer froze up, and because it's UNIX, we couldn't use the standard fix-all of "Well, just reboot". Shrubby was still trying to fix it when we left.
We're also STILL trying to figure out what that d*mn quartet of quartets is. It's not junk, it's not starting material, and if we're reading Steve right, it's not a by product. Of course, I don't know enough about NMR to even THINK of trying to figure it out... It makes my brain hurt.
I bought groceries today. Turns out, I'm pretty good at sticking to a grocery list. This is exciting. Hauling groceries home in the rain? Not so much. :p
