Apr. 22nd, 2005 06:25 pmI have long been attempting to stick my younger sister in a convent. Today, I decided that's not enough. Whatever order I stick her in must also be bound to a vow of silence. The labour dispute with the teachers is heating up and she is positively enraged. They could go to a full blown strike as early as Monday. The grade 9 Quebec trip ($500 per person) and New York Art Trip ($800 per person) have both been cancelled. The trips were supposed to leave in two weeks, and no refunds are possible. The other big shocker: If the labour dispute goes past May 15, prom and graduation will both be cancelled. I didn't think the graduation ceremony was considered the same as the other extracurricular activities. The government doesn't seem to be budging, and at the moment the worst case scenario is losing the entire semester. And they wonder why we're the stupid province. Still, her caterwauling isn't helping the situation in the slightest.
Meme fun time!
You go and find a song that everybody knows and put the lyrics into the Babelfish (http://babelfish.altavista.com/). Translate them from English to German, then German to French, and then French to English. Then post here with 3 clues. See who gets the song right first.
You get one clue: It's actually a song your average person has heard of :p
Me working so hard perforates my map during eight hours, which OH indicate me that on, what I have me have you this feeling that the time holds me downward that I will strike the cover, and then I will tear this city up this evening I the loose free vibration except your shoes of Sunday cutting go satisfy Louise withdraw from my Knieen, the handle received backwards progressed, before we split lost your blue everyone cut freely
And for Mi and Tessie...
The sugar factory packing in my hand asks it from the eyes me, the packing of the rubber determined Drooble cover meant "I love you" from my mummy I must this take, while an indication means that I know you, threads meins
