Okay, nothing else in my house is allowed to break.

First we've had Medi's whole vet saga. She has inflamed gums and has been taking anti-inflammatories and antibiotics. Giving her pills was a bit of an adventure until we talked to the vet about crushing them and hiding them in tuna.

Oh, and the drugs were making her sick so we had to stop them early. She was back at the vet today. They want to do more dental work but... we don't have $1000-$1500 for kitty dental work. So we're going to stick to dental treats and gel and hope that does the trick.

Just for good measure, on Wednesday the cold water tap in the bathroom sink suddenly stopped being able to turn off. We were able to keep the water from flowing by balancing a box of baking soda on it. Got a plumber in, something in the tap had come loose.

And then today, when I went to make supper, we discovered that the oven isn't working. The stovetop works fine, but the oven won't heat up. Enough!

In case you're wondering why I'm counting the cat as something breaking... I'm trying to get to things coming in threes so it will stop.

my cat had all his teeth pulled when he was about a year- didn't stop him at all, and was about $300-$600. Cat's are amazingly good at bouncing back from having no teeth :) There's a cat tooth doctor in Guelph, maybe check that out
