yubsieHEy guys! Get what pictures I finally got around to uploading! Fan Expo! I didn't get as many as last year because the halls were so crowded, but I still have a fair number.
Lego Vader. There was a contest to guess how many bricks were in him.
A Fourth Doctor.
Ryan (as Ryutaros) realizing he needs a regular screwdriver to get his new Eleventh Doctor sonic screwdriver working.
A rather poorly lit photo of Dean Stockwell.
The updated version of my Water Pretear costume. I fitted the bodice more and replaced the jewels. I'm still not COMPLETELY happy with it since you can see where it's not totally even, but that would involve pulling it apart and recutting that piece and that just wasn't in the timeline.
I also added tulle to get the skirt a bit less subject to gravity. You can see the improvement over how flat it used to be. There was more poof earlier in the day when I hadn't been sitting on it all day. Probably should have fluffed it before taking the picture. Still, overall I'm quite pleased with the improvement. New wig's a little bright, but I've decided to invest in a better quality Himeno type wig anyway since I still want to do Plant Pretear and I figure this costume might stay around too.

This Leia looked lonely because everyone was taking pictures of Vader.

A Kaylee we spotted in line for the Masquerade. I was surprised there weren't more Firefly cosplayers, actually, since Summer Glau was there.
Okay, HOW awesome is this hat?

Look! It's William Shatner!
Mario and the Princesses. Hilariously, Mario turned out to be a friend of Chris, who used to work in my lab. Small world.
My hand up against Peter Mayhew's (Chewbacca). IT IS THE SIZE OF HIS PALM!

Palpatine was actually very nice. Really. :p

Last year I got more... though looking back on my LJ I apparently only actually posted the ones with Mary McDonnell and Aaron Douglas. :p The crowds were worse this year so I usually couldn't stop and get pictures of the cool costumes.
