The Cheese Test in real life!

Somewhere in France, a research group actually did solid state NMR on cheese. This is hilarious, delightful and baffling all at the same time. I want to do NMR on cheese!

Um, it is France. They'll do highly-advanced chemistry on wine as well if you give it time :p

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. Basically, looking at how different elements interact with a magnetic field to learn about structure and bonding in a compound.

Also, what my thesis is on. :p
