So apparently the form you need to fill out to get the mysterious OTHER marriage certificate that the stupid DMV will actually take is the same form you fill out to get a DEATH certificate.
Wonder what that's supposed to mean. :p
(I realize it's PROBABLY for people doing genealogical research, especially since you're supposed to be able to do all this name change stuff with the marriage certificate I already have, but still :p)

Date: 2009-02-06 02:54 am (UTC)Terry said that when he moved to Arizona, he had to get a written statement from his father (Terry Sr.) in order to get a drivers license, since, apparently, Arizona lumps them together in the system as the same person. o.O;

Date: 2009-02-06 03:00 am (UTC)What baffles me is that the health insurance people, who are also provincial government, had NO problem using the marriage certificate that I have. You'd think all offices from the same level of government would accept the same paperwork. :p
