I get to do solid state NMR tomorrow barring major explosions! Yay getting results!

I also need to finish our chemical weapon inventory. Which I mention SOLELY to freak you guys out a little. :p

Oh, and Jiacheng brought us all loose leaf green tea from China. Is exciting.

Ice-T did a WWF tie-in song called "Pimpin' Ain't Easy" where he yells GRAB YO BITCHEZ a lot and "it is hard being a whore" reminded me of that. Because it is apparently also hard being a pimp.

One of the things I miss most about chem is the opportunity to say "And today I used a chemical that, if I shook it too hard, would blow my arm off," or "This would make any male who touched it infertile."

So I would love to see a selection from your chemical weapons inventory, complete with side effects. =D (Not that the potential for mass panic is limited to chemistry departments, but still.)

We actually only had one of the items on the list. We have some phosphorus trichloride, which is apparently a chemical weapon precursor. And a lots of other stuff with phosphorus in it precursor. :p

I like mentioning that I used something that can catch fire if it sees oxygen. :p
