Feb. 27th, 2005 09:39 pmSo, Mr. LJ, are you going to let me update this time? Bwar to you.
Anyway, the con was absolutely SPLENDIFEROUS! There were over 100 people in attendance, NOT counting guests, staff or vendors. The profit was $2500, which means next year can be ever BIGGER. Hopefully we can get more guests, becauses guests are cool. As are vendors.
Bawls is the drink of the gods. One bottle has as much caffeine as eight cups of coffee. It was the only thing that was keeping the staff going by the end. The power of this stuff is thus: I had a bottle and a half this morning. I am still able to type coherently.
And fear not, I swear to only drink it in ABSOLUTE emergencies. Like cons. :p
I should probably type a more thorough thing about the con, but frankly I'm far too tired. :p It really was an amazing time though. Which is why I'm so tired.
Well, that and the fact that general staff manager= running around everywhere. But everyone ran around everywhere. :p
Oh, I finally bought the first volume of Sandman at Hobbyton. The guy there just made a joke about me finally caving, since I'd been agonizing for MONTHS.
Andre drew me FANTASTIC pictures of Mannen and Shin. Thank you SO MUCH!
Cosplay pictures as soon as Gwenna emails them to me!

Date: 2005-02-28 03:10 am (UTC)I've been wanting to get Sandman for AGES, because I'm told that I will worship Neil Gaiman when I do.
Yay for sensical panels. I wasn't able to get to yours, unfortunately, so I don't know how it went. :p
