OMG THE CONVENTION IS TOMORROW!

*runs in little circles*

I'm calm. Really. I swear. Not panicking in the least.

Both costumes are now ready to go. I had completely finished sewing one of the lapel thingies for Relena when I realized I had sewn the entire thing BACKWARDS. So then I got to pull all the stitches out with a pin. Man, I wish I had a stitch ripper. I've decided hand sewing is actually quite soothing. Maybe I CAN do Fire Pretear without a machine. It would save me money, at any rate. What else am I going to do with myself in Sackville anyway?

Thanks for the shoe polish suggestion, neekabe! The Toboe boots look spiffy now. They're still not black, but they're a lovely dark brown colour. I amused non_horation when I was cleaning the polish off the keyboard. I'm going to look slightly goth until I can get into town though, because it didn't come off my fingernails entirely. I have to run down to pick up the shoelaces anyway though, so I'll try to do that before the con gets started tomorrow morning.

I came to that same conclusion after about three stitches. :p

Alas, my sewing kit was fitted out by swiping things from my mother, who didn't have an extra one. :p

I tried, but I can't get down to the con this weekend. :( Sometime when you're doing something less insane, and we're both in the same general area, perhaps we can meet in person. Hopefully we haven't done so already and disliked each other. That would suck.

Stitch ripper would be my friend. Of course, my sewing kit contains one colour of thread, I think that demonstrates the extent of it. :p

Aww, well, hopefully some other time. I know there's a period at the end of April where I'm exiled from residence but I'll be in Riverview because our lease doesn't start until May. :p
