So, I went up to the lab today after my class finished. And found the place swarming with hazmat team. :p We apparently had a fairly major chemical spill. (Broken 4L bottle of something that forms hydrochloric acid upon contact with atmospheric water) So that was fun. Apparently it involved Paul running down six flights of stairs to chemstores and throwing his student card at them while demanding all the sodium bicarbonate they had. So that was it for any of us doing chemistry today, since going back in the lab was not recommended. We're going to have fun tomorrow cleaning up all the absorbant. Not to mention all the icky bottles from that cabinet that are currently sitting in my fumehood. :p

Also, apparently big brown four litre bottles are called Winchesters. Who knew. :P (Other than the hazmat guys. :p)
