REI.com just recently had a sale (maybe still going on?) so if you know your size, they're a great place to try. That, or find a good hole-in-the-wall hunting/military surplus/outdoor store - they almost always at least have safety-toe shoes around. I just had to get a new pair of steel-toe boots, as my boss said to me "You never know when you'll get dragged into a coal mine!"
