So we didn't get the cat we applied for at the shelter. BUT one of my friends needs to find a new home for her cat, so we're going to take him in. So there will be a kitty soon!

Got my passport today. I was so confused, because there was a post office card in the mailbox and my books came on Friday. I'd forgotten passport=registered letter=must be signed for. Hopefully Ryan's will come tomorrow, because I don't exactly fancy a Cristina honeymoon. :p

Also, invitations are annoying. :p

It'll come. When my family got our passports last year- two years ago? Whenever- my sister's and mine arrived, and my parents' came a few days later. We gloated that we'd be going without them for a while, though.

I'm guessing it might have something to do with having to check my stuff with Quebec and his with Alberta. :p

Except... now no kitty because she wound up deciding that the grief she's getting from her dad about his allergies is better than taking the cat away from her daughter. So back to the shelter for us.

Eventually. Hopefully we'll get the next cat we apply for? I think they'd find homes for more animals faster if they didn't do this multiple applications process. :p
