Date: 2008-02-03 02:08 pm (UTC)Honestly I think I had anticipated it for so long that it was really hard to get into the moment with it. I probably need to re-read it at some point before I can get a better idea of what it was really like as a novel :( The fandom experience was worth it, but having to wait so long for it and talking/speculating about it that whole time definitely took out some of the spontaneity/magic. Sad. I THINK it was quite good though! Sorry I still can't really think to say much in terms of details!! I'll get around to re-reading it eventually I hope.
