Merry Christmas or whatever you celebrate everyone!

I feel bad for the poor puppy and kitties today. We eat Christmas dinner at lunch, and then we're on our own for supper because usually no one is that hungry or willing to cook. Which, umm, ended with us kinda sorta maybe forgetting to feed the animals THEIR supper. Oops. :p

I spent most of the day reading Making Money because as usual I got the newest Pratchetty goodness from my father for Christmas. And oh MAN, I am never getting page 254 out of my head. SCARY STUFF.

My mother gave me, among other things, a bridal magazine. This should be entertaining. She still thinks I should wear heels. Haha, not happening. For some reason she objects to the totally adorable dyeable satin bridal SNEAKERS I spotted. :p I personally think they're a BRILLIANT idea. :p

We had fun watching Hairspray and Robot today. My brother is now sad that he didn't know about Robot in time to try to convince his English teacher to watch it when they were studying Frankenstein.

Now my brother and I are racing Voyage of the Damned torrents. :p

Holy crap, bridal sneakers may be the greatest invention evah! Besides, you're wearing a floor length dress. Just don't do the garter thing (saddening, I know, since everyone loves exposing their undies in public gatherings) and no one will know.

Hell, I don't care if people DO know I'm wearing totally adorable bridal sneakers. I keep threatening to put a little note on my shoes that says "WHY are you looking at my FEET?" :p

LOL, I think you totally should. I wore ten-dollar high-heeled sandals from Payless 'cuz I darn well felt like it. No one said boo.

The one thing I'm being stubborn about is NO HEELS. I never wear heels and it seems like a phenomenally stupid time to start. :p

I don't blame you. Tripping and ripping the hell out of that gorgeous heirloom dress is too great a risk to bother with heels. Besides, if you never wear them and never have? Even if you didn't trip, all you'd be able to think of from probably an hour or two in was how much your legs hurt. Not, I'm sure, what you want the memory of your big day to be. (Mine, granted, is mostly thinking 'Stand up straight, stand up straight, DON'T ASK THE JP TO REPEAT HIMSELF!, stand up straight, sit up straight, DON'T SPILL ANYTHING ON THE DRESS!')

Heels and I don't get along. :p

Robot is an old school Doctor Who episode with, well, a robot. Near the end there's a conversation between Sarah Jane about how she knew he had to kill it because it was insane and it was killing everyone, but oh at the beginning it seemed so HUMAN. The Doctor said "It was a marvelous creation, capable of great good... and great evil. Yes, I suppose you could say it was human."
