I am so insanely overtired right now. A bunch of us from Copacabana went to Geoge's last night because it was kareoke. It was INSANELY fun. We all got up and sang Copacabana, complete with dancing. The choreography didn't work particularly well on the cramped little kareoke stage, but it was FUN. It must have been REALLY obvious that the third verse of the song isn't actually in the show though. Considering we're just kinda "ACK! We don't know this part!" We tried to dance anyway, using the first verse's choreography. SO not appropriate since it's our happy grand finale dancingness, and the third verse is that sad verse that "Would never sell!" Other highlights of the night include random interprative dancing and attempted line dancing to Achy Breaky Heart, ending in a series of "kick, kick, pas-de-bouret". Because it had to. The guys were eventually sufficiently intoxicated to decide to form a boy band. Oh, and the reason we stayed out so insanely late was that we knew Greg was going to sing a Michael Jackson song, and there was no way we could leave before he made that much of a fool of himself.

Rehearsals have been going really well. I must say, however, that Sweet Heaven 2 is the most CHEESY thing I have ever seen. We have a full cast kick line. That I can't screwing up. :p Then we grapevine the entire cast across the stage in double time, proving that it is in fact humanly possible.

Turns out that someone is fansubbing the first two seasons of Digimon, which excites me greatly. We watched The Call of Dagomon (Dub title: His Master's Voice, which I actually like better as a title) yesterday. I must say WOW the difference. Some shippiness was made more blatant in the dub and some was removed. All and all, Takeru and Hikari make an absolutely ADORABLE couple. Tessie, you would totally ship them. That's their ultimate shippy episode and then their shippiness just kinda gets DROPPED. The characters talked a lot less in the original Japanese. A lot of places where the dub has internal monologues with random jokes going, they originally just let the music do its thing. I always knew they were adding a lot of jokes in, since they made no secret of the fact that they were doing so to make the show appeal to girls. I was rather happy to discover that Takeru does use Hikari-chan. Or, more often in THIS particular episode, Hikari-chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! Anyway, short version: I quite like the subtitled version, yay!
