Just finished season three of new Who. :p This is all taken more or less word for word from my reaction IMs. :p Also, I need a Doctor Who icon. :p



Jack is awesome. And apparently immortal.

Hee, this regeneration IS rather cheeky. :p

There must be so much Doctor/Master slash. Between the date line and the death scene and the Luke lighting Vader's pyre scene. :p

The Master dares mock the sonic screwdriver? Having a laser screwdriver does not give you the right to mock the SONIC SCREWDRIVER! I thought he was funny for a while, but that crosses a line. :p

And then he'll get to kill Jack again!

Uh oh, planet decimation. Doctor's not happy. Doctor's also old. :p

Master is creeeeeeeeepy. Doctor is now a scarier looking Gollum. Glad I didn't have to wait a week between episodes. Especially since CBC would have made it a month because they suck. :p

Now the Doctor is glowing! And now he's hot again! Go Martha getting everyone to know him. :p They also apparently gave him the Force. :p

Heh, the Doctor is going to keep the Master. Except now the Master is dying and the Doctor is begging him to regenerate. Oh so much slash must exist. :p

Master/Ten is, in point of fact, fairly rampant. Who *ever* did you guess?

How cool was the Master in all of this? How cool is an evil villain who makes his own end-of-the-earth FST? The more I re-watch the trilogy of episodes, the convinced I become and Jacobi and Simm (the old and the young) make the best Masters EVER.

I totally think we haven't seen the last of the Master, anyway. I hope it was Lucy who took the ring and now he's taken over his body and we will have Girl!Master!!!! Which could only be more awesome if Ten regenerates in an elevenish girl!Doctor, which would give me a fannish joygasm.

Captain Jack, I love you, even if you are going to turn into a giant face. Please come back to visit more often, alright? (I watched Gridlock again and when the Face of Boe goes on about how he's "the last of my kind, as you are the last of yours", I wanted to throw popcorn at him, because he's basically saying "You're not!")

I totally thought of Star Wars during the Pyre scene too. And did you noticed the LotR nod? (Say hello, Gandalf.)

I totally think Martha should hook up with Tom Milligan again.

Oh gosh, the last three episodes of the third season are so much fun (sometimes sad, but also AWESOME), and your post makes me want to go rewatch them.

That was pretty much my reaction, word for word. :D But then it makes me feel terrible for not being sadder during the Face's death earlier this season.

It's ridiculous how Doctor Who has reverted me to my five-year-old "It's not even fall yet and I can't wait for Christmas!" feelings.
