Hmm, I think I'll do a random ramble post. :p

I went to look at bridesmaid dresses the other day. I have a few ideas, but am definitely going to look at NOT a bridal shop to come up something my poor bridesmaids can actually afford. I do feel the need to mention one particularly HEINOUS dress I saw. It was fuschia and had multi-colour beading all over the bodice. THe skirt had a meshy overlay with random sequins. And it was FUSCHIA. Oh, and $300. Bad taste knows no price limit. :p

I actually bought Sacrifice. I debated it, but eventually caved if only because I need to see how such a major development plays out. I'm not very far yet though. I'm currently in the first of what I'm sure will be MANY Pointless Mandalorian Interludes. I wish the Mandalorians would stay in the prequel era where they actually FIT. Oh EU, sometimes I wish I could quit you. :p

I want to kill Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger too! The Hundred Acre Wood seriously has the most EVIL minigames I've ever seen. Tigger's involved these RIDICULOUS jumps. If I wanted to play a platformer, I wouldn't be playing an RPG here! :p

I went to see Pirates again on Saturday, since Shannon hadn't seen it yet. It was great to see Shannon again, and the movie was just as fun the second time around. And I know longer feel like I need a chart to follow some of it. :p

My family are all such geeks. My brother and I actually had a conversation about "Gee, I knew I should have put some skillpoints into the lockpicking skill." "I gave myself the skill, but I forgot to equip myself with lockpicks!" We managed to lock the bathroom door with all of us outside it. We knew the lock COULD be picked, because my sister accidently picked it with a sucker when she was seven. It just took us a while to find the appropriate sized implement. :p

I read all the Luke and/or Mara parts of Sacrifice the day it was released. Now I'm trying to go back and read the entire thing, but these Pointless Mandalorian Interludes do try my patience.

Fuschia beaded and sequined dresses are evil.

I'm convinced that most bridesmaid's dresses are made for brides who actively hate their wedding party.

Not necessarily. My cousin Marc's wedding was on Saturday, and the bridesmaids'dresses were really lovely. They were red strapless chiffon sheaths, and sort of gathered to one side. Then they had a rhinestone brooch holding it in place, and a little cascade of material falling. VERY simple and very elegant. Marc's sister, Maria, looked absolutely stunning.

This (http://www.bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2034386637&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1213&N=1123&Nao=648&Ne=500000&Ns=Popularity%7c0%7c%7cProduct%2bCode%7c1&Nu=Product+ID) is sort of the type-at least as far as the draping.

Oddly enough, in our house the appropriate sized implement (typically a nail) is stored on top of the doorframe to each bathroom. I assume that this came from a tendency to lock people in/out of bathrooms while we were kids, or something. I can't think of any other reason ^_~
