D*mmit CTV, stop messing with the timeslot for Grey's! Grey's is at NINE, not EIGHT. I expect it to be on when I tune in for it! And I can't just catch the American feed, that's up against CSI. If it's one of your top rated shows, WHY DO YOU KEEP MOVING THE TIMESLOT?

ANd why is ER in the Grey's timeslot? ER isn't on Thursday nights! And who cares about ER anyway, GREY'S!

...

Okay, I managed to timeshift. :p It's fifteen minutes into the episode (because the episode is apparently an hour and fifteen minutes? WTF?), but I managed to timeshift! Crisis averted! :p

Congrats on the Job! Yay Employment! As for Greys, I fell out of the loop this year..... have to get back to watching it over the summer.

Congrats on the job!

CTV *does* that, and I don't know why! They'll take a top-ranked show, then switch it RANDOMLY all around the time slot. They used to do it with Due South and DS9, and it drove me batty.

I *think* what they're trying to do is make people chase the top-ranked shows, in the hope that they'll stick around for the lesser-ranked show that comes after it. It has the same effect as your proposal in the end, though.
