yubsieSo today? A good day. :p
I applied for a job at the hospital. No clue if I'll actually get it, but I applied. :p
And of course, today was Convocation. So now I'm all graduated. :p Markus's valedictory address was freaking HILARIOUS! He started off doing a speech in Latin until the President came over and whispered in his ear. Then he said that he had to translate the whole thing line by line, and oh no, first year Latin NIGHTMARES coming to life! And then Dr. Vanderleest stood up with a microphone and a spotlight and everything and called on Markus to do the translation. :p It stayed awesome from there. :p
There were also a few great moments in the presentation of degrees. When the Chancellor congratulated Markus, he declared "You say that to all the grads." :p Another guy had "HI MOM" written on the soles of his shoes, which were visible when he knelt to be hooded. :p And one student responded to "How are you?" with "HUNGRY!" Which reminded the rest of us that we're hungry. :p
So yeah, all graduated now, I'm officially done with being an undergrad.
The other exciting thing is that my laptop came. I am now posting from Puck. He's all pretty and silver and shiny! (My sister is jealous because he's much prettier than Sir Windows :p) And he has EXCEL!
I'm not looking forward to transferring all my sims data (including my 2.6 gig download folder) onto this computer though. But it'll be worth it to get to play it with a REAL VIDEO CARD!
