Sometimes I really wonder why we bother with cat toys. This morning, Elphaba was playing with a POTATO. :p

Japanese went decently. I remembered all the WORDS, but I blanked on the kanji. I remembered all the location kanji except front and back. Guess which ones she asked for. :p I'm also pretty sure I made up half of the kanji for read and study. I could remember the left hand side of both those characters, but the right hand side was a little less clear. :p

One exam and a paper to go!

Noel used to play with tomatos.

For the rest, crumpled up paper balls seem to do the trick.

Elphie's favourite toy seems to be the pull thingies from concentrated juice. We're not even sure how she GETS them. :p

Cats play with weird things. Nuki left a huge thing of ear swabs out in the open and all three of them started to use them as toys.

Congrats on getting through the exam. I know ive made up kanji sides before (the right side is ALWAYS harder than the left side...). If you need my help to relax, I can always pop by tonight.

Actually...i need to relax too...so hopefully you have time for me. :P

I definitely do that all the time. It's especially fun when you start going "well, I know it's got that thing that looks like a katakana 'mu' and the dirt cross thing, but which one goes on top?" or "which kind of legs does this eye have again?" My most common problem, though, is the one you have with remembering the radical and making up the rest. ^_^'> And my final is next Thursday and I have to essentially relearn about a year's worth of kanji. To be perfectly clear: that's 300 of them. O_o

At least I only needed to know around fifty...

My big problem this time was that there was a bunch of verb kanji we learned the same week and their right sides all kinda blurred together in my mind. :p

My father's cat used to play with olives. She would bat them around the floor, catch them, lick them, and once the salt was gone, crack open the olive and eat the pimento. Then she would bat the empty olive shell under the couch and pretend it didn't exist.
