yubsieHappy New Year everyone! (It's 12:09 Atlantic time :p)
Ryan's here for the day, which is exciting. He showed up wearing a Hawaiian shirt. :p We exchanged Christmas presents today. I gave him a random Ranma 1/2 DVD I picked up at Wal-Mart and the ANH DVD that has the Han Shoots First version (very important) in addition to the special version. He gave me the Firefly Companion, which is VERY shiny. So I've been reading shooting scripts. At one point, we started reading a Zoe/Wash scene. Meimei wasn't sure if it was cute or weird. Typical. :p
We also watched ANH, because it seemed the thing to do. I don't know how I managed to watch that movie a frillion times without ever noticing that Han informs Leia that Luke is the brains of the operation. :p Go me for perception. :p
And of course, as per tradition, we watched the Air Farce New Year's special to see the Chicken Cannon Target of the Year. They started off the Chicken Cannon segment saying that as always, there were a lot of votes for Bush and Harper, but they were going to give them a break and not hit them. Then they changed their minds, so a picture of the two of them got destroyed by a rubber chicken. :p More importantly, those bloody beavers from the Bell commercial were the Target of the Year. :p
