Oct. 8th, 2006 10:13 pmWell, after church, we went to the mall which was MUCH less crowded than the church. I picked up a new card for my sister's old camera, since both my memory cards were with my camera when it was stolen. We ran into SAM of all people, which amuses me. (Recap: Sam is my roommate :p) I also bought a whole PILE of books. I picked up New Spring because it was like five dollards. I also FINALLY have Bloodlines, so brace for rage. :p And, because Neil Gaiman clearly doesn't have ENOUGH of my money, I bought Coraline and Anansi Boys. Oh, and I bought Son of a Witch at Price Club. :p
Also, manga is really getting mainstream. Naruto, FMA and Yu-Gi-Oh were all at Price Club. :p
Apparently all science fiction is confusing to my brother. He was complaining that Pern was confusing, so I asked him what in particular confused him and he just kept saying "EVERYTHING!" Which is, y'know, so not an answer, as my entire family pointed out.
It looks like he may finally be understanding Firefly though. We watched Ariel through Heart of Gold the past couple days. My parents' DVD player is broken, so we (me, BJ and meimei) were all clustered around a laptop and trying to get the screen at the right angle that we didn't get crazy inversion happening. I love that show oh so very much. :p
My sister is amazed by my 1337 typing skills. The speed, obviously. :p

Date: 2006-10-09 03:09 pm (UTC)Oh, there will be rage sharing when I actually start it. Right now I'm reading the pretty shiny Neil Gaiman first. :p

Price Club manga? wow...manga in BULK. *drools at the aspect*

Well, it's not in bulk, but it's THERE. :p
