Sep. 6th, 2006 11:47 pmWell, my plan of buying my books mid-August so I wouldn't have to go to the bookstore the first week didn't quite work out. Coursepacks are printed RIGHT at the beginning of the semester, and of course, Japanese has one. :p And we need it on Friday, because the textbook is currently too hard for us. :p The line moved pretty quickly though.
Japanese looks like it's going to be fun though. Which was kinda the point in my taking it, after all. Quantum looks like it should be pretty good too. Dr. Reade gave us the class notes for free, which is nice. The downside is that they're in a GIANT BINDER OF DOOM that so isn't going to fit in my backpack with everything else I need. :p Spectroscopy should also be fun. He's doing his awesome bonus point thing again, yay!
I didn't get QUITE as much done in the lab today as I wanted to, because we're not sure where the NMR tubes from the girls' lab have gotten to. Makes it hard to RUN an NMR. :p
I made Sim Wash today. He and Sim Zoe get along HILARIOUSLY well. Usually the early conversations in Sims 2 are kinda touch and go, but these two were practically INCAPABLE of losing relationship points. So I had him shave off his heinous mustache and flirt with Zoe. Crush status ensued, followed by Zoe kissing him. After that, whenever there weren't a pile of actions queued up, those two were all over each other. Including deciding of their own free will to make out even though their relationship didn't look like it was high enough for it not to backfire. It, umm, didn't backfire. :p Apparently two lightning bolts of chemistry is REALLY helpful. :p Now they want to get engaged. Which I think is a good idea, considering Zoe's Lifetime Want is to marry off six children. I'll probably make Sim Kaylee before I marry them off though, so they can have a wedding guest other than Sim Mal. :p

So now you can feel even worse about his character being killed... :P
