Little brother has his uses sometimes. He told me that CBC airs Doctor Who re-runs at midnight on Tuesday. It was The Doctor Dances. Just my luck, it's one I've seen, eh? But a highly fun episode anyway. :p Mummy? (I NEEDS MORE DOCTOR WHO! :p)

I had to go to the dentist today. Now, years of orthodontic work have left me with a strong distaste for dentists. The worst part has to be the scrapey pokey thingy. A close second though is the X-rays. Specifically, the way my dentist takes them. There's this thingy that you have to bite down on... but it's TOO GORRAM BIG! It doesn't fit in my mouth, but they still insist on using it! On the plus side, no cavities. He noticed I have wisdom teeth, but they haven't done anything yet. I guess it must have been my orthodontist who noticed, because I've known about them for years. We're playing the wait and see game. Hopefully they'll just never do anything, since there's not room for them to come in if they DO decide to errupt. :p

The weirdest part though had to be realize we couldn't set my next appointment because in nine months time, I might be halfway across the country. :p

I hate dentists. Especially the hygenists that decide "Oh well...while I'm checking your teeth im going to STAB your gums!"

The most screwed up thing about that though is the fact that afterwards they harp on me because my gums are bleeding. >_<**

It was definately from the jabbage the last FOUR times i've gotten checkups. I could feel the thing halfway into my gorram root! It was very unpleasant! And when i call them on it, they go 'n-no i didn't >_>"

I don't mind the dentist, especially the pretty cool one I have back home who is a fairly recent graduate and is snarky and fun.

I'm glad I just got my wisdom teeth out before they did anything, because it's more difficult then...plus you can do it when you aren't halfway across the country.

My wisdom teeth have pushed my lower teeth into a neat inward-going curvy shape.

I suspect I'll need braces when I finally so get the suckers out.

I don't mind...I get to lie down and stare at an out-of-date map for half an hour, what else was I really going to do?

I'm still glad to have just gotten it over with when it was conveinent for me.

I also got to read a very interesting article on how siblings shape your personality while I was there, that I wouldn't have gotten to read otherwise!

There's always a least a MORE convenient time for it...like me getting it done before going away to university.

It's really not a big deal of a procedure though...but whatever. I wouldn't have done it any other way XD

Not really unpleasant at all and it was what...two days out of my life? Even you could spare that, if you actually wanted to.

Getting your wisdom teeth out wasn't near as bad as everyone says it is. Of course, my opinion may be skewed, what with the two-day drug-induced memory lapse.

I've only recently begun watching the new Doctor Who (a first season bout of 'zomg, my childhood memories!' previously preventing me) and I adore it. Eccleston is worthy. *nods*

I hope you manage to avoid getting those teeth out. The other summer student where I work is only sixteen, and hers are already giving her pain. She's getting them out in November because they're coming in sideways. O_o

I had mine out a couple years ago because they were impacted. It wasn't too bad for me, except, despite the fact that I'm usually okay with needles, there were just so many needles when they froze me that I started hyperventilating and crying and it took me five or ten minutes to calm down. ~_~' And I'd had cavities filled on the one side the previous week, so when he was excavating the bottom left side I could feel it, just a little, as though any second the drill would burst through into unimaginable nerve-agony.

Because you really needed to know that. :P But it was really cool to hear him work and see my blood all over his face mask. ^__^
