Aug. 23rd, 2006 04:54 pmLittle brother has his uses sometimes. He told me that CBC airs Doctor Who re-runs at midnight on Tuesday. It was The Doctor Dances. Just my luck, it's one I've seen, eh? But a highly fun episode anyway. :p Mummy? (I NEEDS MORE DOCTOR WHO! :p)
I had to go to the dentist today. Now, years of orthodontic work have left me with a strong distaste for dentists. The worst part has to be the scrapey pokey thingy. A close second though is the X-rays. Specifically, the way my dentist takes them. There's this thingy that you have to bite down on... but it's TOO GORRAM BIG! It doesn't fit in my mouth, but they still insist on using it! On the plus side, no cavities. He noticed I have wisdom teeth, but they haven't done anything yet. I guess it must have been my orthodontist who noticed, because I've known about them for years. We're playing the wait and see game. Hopefully they'll just never do anything, since there's not room for them to come in if they DO decide to errupt. :p
The weirdest part though had to be realize we couldn't set my next appointment because in nine months time, I might be halfway across the country. :p

Date: 2006-08-23 08:14 pm (UTC)I'm glad I just got my wisdom teeth out before they did anything, because it's more difficult then...plus you can do it when you aren't halfway across the country.

Date: 2006-08-23 09:07 pm (UTC)It wouldn't have been convenient then and quite frankly, I don't think there's a CONVENIENT time for it. :p

Date: 2006-08-23 09:11 pm (UTC)There's always a least a MORE convenient time for it...like me getting it done before going away to university.

Date: 2006-08-23 11:04 pm (UTC)I've only recently begun watching the new Doctor Who (a first season bout of 'zomg, my childhood memories!' previously preventing me) and I adore it. Eccleston is worthy. *nods*

Date: 2006-08-24 03:17 am (UTC)I had mine out a couple years ago because they were impacted. It wasn't too bad for me, except, despite the fact that I'm usually okay with needles, there were just so many needles when they froze me that I started hyperventilating and crying and it took me five or ten minutes to calm down. ~_~' And I'd had cavities filled on the one side the previous week, so when he was excavating the bottom left side I could feel it, just a little, as though any second the drill would burst through into unimaginable nerve-agony.
Because you really needed to know that. :P But it was really cool to hear him work and see my blood all over his face mask. ^__^
