Jan. 2nd, 2009 02:51 pmWell, so far my year is off to a quiet, snowy start. My sister figures it'll be a good year because the fudge didn't explode like it did LAST New Year's Eve. :p
I've been playing a lot of Avernum 2. I have come to the related conclusions that Avernum should give up on the whole army thing and train those soldiers as adventurers instead and that the Empire is too stupid to live.
My party of four adventurers has taken out more Empire soldiers than most regiments. We killed the general who was commanding the entire region. And yet they let me through checkpoints because I show them the right pass! A pass I have because I broke into an outpost, killed everyone inside and STOLE THE PASS. I guess wanted posters are a foreign concept. I mean, they have plenty of time to send off a description while I'm recharging spellpoints or selling off their stuff. :p
