So believe it or not, there's more to my life than Harry Potter. (I'll post pictures from the release party when I get them from my sister. I went as a young Minverva McGonagall (totally closet cosplay :p) and wanted a sign that said "No, I'm NOT Hermione")
I had a whopping two hours of work today. Of course, I get paid for three. Tomorrow we leave for another "fun" Zellers road trip, and I'll be gone until God Knows When on Thursday.
Ryan and I went to see The Fantasticks in Sackville. It was, to make the pun everyone seems to enjoy so much, fantastic. :p Jason has a real knack for landing the most fun role in any show. Or he just brings a sense of fun to a lot of his roles (except the one he played in Cabaret :p). He was El Vallo, an awesome bandit for hire. It was a fun show because it dealt with what happens AFTER the lovers separated by a "terrible feud" are finally able to be together. In other words, when the first act ends all happy with all the obstacle removed, you KNOW act two is going to be... interesting. :p Also, it's clearly a Romeo and Juliet extravaganza at the Festival this year, considering it's the Shakespeare play, the kids' workshop is an abridged West Side Story and The Fantasticks is also loosely based on it. :p
We also picked out fabric and a pattern for bridesmaid dresses. We're going with Style C of
this pattern.
