It's just so AWKWARD, I apparently know a lot of people who are running. :p

Had a touch of a migraine today, but it's passed. It was problematic when I was supposed to be listening to presentations in Computational today. Oh well, I'll live.

Inorganic midterm tomorrow, so happy fun study time. Fortunately, most of it is fairly hands on stuff, and I did fine on the relevant assignments. What theory there is, we covered in much more depth in Spectroscopy last semester, so I can answer any questions he might ask in WAY more detail than I need to. :p

Tonight I'm going to go see Floralie, which is a billingual play and should be interesting. One of my roommates is performing in it.

Also, I love this song SO much more in French than English! It's one that had considerable changes between languages. In English, it's Little People. The French version is all "I fell to the ground. It's Voltaire's fault!"

So, Floralie was absolutely fantastic. The plot even made sense, which is a big change from a lot of Tintamar productions. It's about a woman who left her tiny village for the big city and is now going back to do a live special. It features cynical people in the village and naive people from the big city, which confused the chorus!

The chorus was one of my favourite parts of the play, as a longtime chorus member myself. THey start out by demonstrating that they DO in fact have distinct personalities (because the chorus always DOES have an assortment of characters with elaborate lives). I'm biased, since Sam is like a little sister to me, but my favourite chorus member was definitely Frivole, the chorus girl who kept trying to get too many lines. She also kept acquiring every exciting costume piece that got discarded with glee. :p The part that amused me the most about Frivole is the way she shouted "GO CHORUS!" after mass lines. :p

The entire cast is very animated. Which is important, because more than half the show is in French. Ryan still managed to follow what was going on even though he's unilingual. A lot of people who do know French find the switching confusing, but I'm from New Brunswick. I speak English and French, frequently at the same time. :p

So yeah, I definitely recommend all you Sackville people try to get to this show. I know I only really talked about Frivole, but the whole cast is fantastic.

Other than the play, I've been studying for my midterm tomorrow. I did most of the old midterm, but then I, uh, got bored with one of the questions. Still, nothing I can't handle. Assuming I use the key words he wants to hear for the theory questions, I should be fine.
