We had non-Japanese animation night at anime club tonight. Unfortunately, the only person who remembered to bring anything was Vicki. She brought in The Last Unicorn, which was only debatably non-Japanese. The Avatar fans let us down! :p So we watched The Last Unicorn, which is shiny. Silly Ryan thought it was going to be cutesy. He didn't believe me when I said that just because it has a unicorn in it doesn't make it cutesy! He's not living THAT down anytime soon. :p Then we watched Darkside Blues which... didn't make a whole ton of sense. :p

My alarm clock is on CRACK. It theoretically has a CD player option, but the CD player hasn't worked in AGES, so I wake up to obnoxious beeping. This morning, I hit the snooze button to shut off the obnoxious beeping and "No One Mourns the Wicked" started to BLARE. That song is generally pretty loud, seeing as it's the opening of the show and all. I'm not sure what confuses me more: The CD player functionality spontaneously starting to work or the fact that music started playing when I hit the SNOOZE button.

I was definitely awake though. :p
