yubsieI've bought all the books I can so far. We had a meeting with Ghandi today about Spectroscopy, and it turns out there's no book for that, which is nice. I've got the book for Quantum ($26, NICE) and my books for Japanese. Those Japanese books were kinda brutal. They're just these tiny things, but they're around $60 each, and there's two. Plus a dictionary, of course. I'm hoping there won't be a book for INorganic, because by the time I find out, there will be LINES at the bookstore, and that's just no fun. Plus, if there isn't a book, $166 is pretty sweet for a whole semester of textbooks. :p
The isolation attempt that I thought was going to totally destroy poor Godot actually managed to get rid of the starting material I've been trying to remove for the past three weeks or so. There's a bit of some of the other starting materials, but I know how to get rid of those easily enough. Just waiting for Francis to finish with the rotovap.
Tomorrow morning will be putting all the product I have left into solution for crystals. Tomorrow afternoon, we're destroying the lab. Or in other words, putting it back to being a teaching lab and removing all traces of our presence. Friday we're having a BBQ at Duffy's.

Where the HELL did the summer go?
