So, I'm registered for about half my courses now. Apparently I'm lucky, because everyone else in the Cragg was getting errors saying they couldn't register because it wasn't their timeslot. Even though no one had received an email about timeslots. And one assumes fourth year students would get the first slot ANYWAY.
So I'm registered for Intro Japanese, Spectroscopy, Environmental Chem, Computational Chemistry and Physical Aspects of Inorganic Chemistry. The Environmental course might still get dropped if the inorganic course they're talking about for first term is in a good slot. Only problem is, it's probably going to be a night course and that's really not too feasible with me, since I don't know when karate or G&G vocals are going to be. There was talk of having it from 3-6, which WOULD work for me, so I'm really hoping. I'd really like to take that course, after all.
The ones I'm still not registered for have to go through Duffman. Those are my thesis, Dr REade's quantum class and Physical Aspects of Organic Chemistry. The thesis is because Honours is special like that. I need to go through Duffman for the quantum class because it's only an option for people who took quantum with Stacy. Mostly because it's Dr Reade teaching the exact course HE taught for quantum, which is less math-happy than Stacy's. As for Organic, turns out that the pre-req is Organic III. Y'know, that class I got a D+ in? So even though I did fine in Organic IV, the system is still complaining. I'm sure that even if Duffman makes me ask for permission directly from the prof, it won't be a problem. I mean, it's Dr. GRANT. :p He's probably only vaguely aware that his course HAS pre-reqs. :p
