I think I'm at the point of 'where i see it as so cannon it hurts' that i'm ok with it.

As for Zelda, as long as you don't go into timeline stuff...you'll be fine. Plus...in mosta the newer games you get to spin around the screen like a top. Its fun!

Soon I'll be to the point where I won't be squicked by accidentally seeing it anymore :P

I've found some forums that have reasonable discussions about timeline and have gotten solid theories down. Namely the one on GFAQs' Twilight Princess board. There's still about 4 variations they have there though...and the evidence in my view is just too much to go over when i haven't played half the games. Luckily...the game writers have started to put some of the pieces together for us by answering questions in interviews about the timeline.

And not only that...but in the one i'm playing..you juggle chickens!

I think they've just seen the discussion/flame wars over this :P

Plus...they don't leave gapping plotholes liek some OTHER game writers >_>

And that is JUSt what i thought as i finished posting last time :P

Wash is awesome incarnate. 'nough said.

And not so much duct tape as leaving hints in the games to previous ones along with interviews. They actually started doing it when they made Link to the past for SNES, and then made Ocarina of time with hints of ALTTP in it. Plus...its not just one link doing these games...its pretty much a bloodline of guys with the same name and same looks throughout centuries of Hylian history. Its been stated on record that Minish Cap (forexample) was the first in the timeline. So if you piece together the evidence in the games, you get a prettty good idea of the flow of games. In fact...most people believe that the very first zelda game for the NES is one of the last ones in the timeline.

That makes sense; I've heard that too (that the first = the last in the timeline). I figure everything happens in a way prehistoric legendary time, and the cross on his shield connects him with actual human history. :P Or something Middle Earthish like that. ^_^'>

*raises hand* Studiously not-a-slasher, but I love Hands Off! because I don't think it has to count as shounen ai, and Fai just begs several questions. ^_^'>

I'd have helped spam you earlier, but I was at work too, and my work does not involve ever having the opportunity to go online. :P

Premise (not quite spoiler-free, but close enough): Two male cousins, living with their grandfather. Very close as children, but Kotarou, the short blonde that looks like a girl, is a touch-activated psychic amplifier, and triggered his cousin Tatsuki's latent postcognition, which, of course, changed everything between them. When Kotarou moved in with his grandfather and Tatsuki, they were not on good terms - Tatsuki having been studiously avoiding him since he became a postcog, since he kept seeing violent deaths and awful stuff, and Kotarou made it worse.

Kotarou has no idea, by the way, that his cousin is psychic or that he himself is an amplifier. He becomes friends with a guy called Yuuto, who can read auras. It's all very cute and a lot of Tatsuki grabbing Kotarou's hand at inopportune moments so he can "see" the past (ie, crimes and things) more clearly.

Highly recommended. :D

I tend to go for the interminable ones, myself - one of my failings. ^_^'> DB/Z, Naruto, Bleach, Ranma 1/2....

They do that. But Dragon Ball (by which I mean both DB and DBZ, which I usually abbreviate DB/Z) is just so AWESOME. The anime does drag a lot, to the point where the fans call it Drag-On Ball - later in the series you'll get one attack and some peripheral action lasting one entire episode, all in bullet-time, more or less. :P But the characters are so GOOD and the art is so AWESOME. Toriyama-sensei calls himself lazy and then goes and draws WELD LINES on tanks. O_o

I'll stop yelling now. The manga's less bad for dragging and the art is more consistent because it was actually all done by the same guy - you knokw how that works. :P And my big brother is awesome and in the process of collecting the manga. He's up to volume 7 or so of DBZ, having already acquired DB in its entirety.

I did find it easy to let go of Naruto, but I didn't get very far in Bleach and am pining for it, and the friend I was borrowing it from is still in Edmonton. ;_;

This should be fun...

Give me your theories about a shared fandom.
Okay, SW. Hobbie is married with a whole bunch of kids, which is why he isn't in the NJO.

Give me uses for zuchinis.
Throwing them at people.

Recommend a fandom.
Hm...trying to think of one that you aren't already in. Well, I like Zahn's COBRA trilogy, and I ship J/D. :p

Recommend a recipe.
For quick chicken corn soup, take a packet of lipton, quarter bag of corn, and three cut up hardboiled eggs. Mix together and simmer for 15 minutes. Tada!

Hell, give me your thoughts on yaoi.
As long as it is supported by canon, rock on.

I believe that you still have a fic from me to beta ;p

And zuchinis make very good door stops. Unless that's zuchini bread. Or maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about. I think that they would make very good door stops, in theory.

Dove's new-ish line of 'Weightless Moisture' products are AMAZING. The Straight & Sleek Styling Cream is a smooth, non-frizzy orgasm in a bottle. Loves it!

Changed my life. Seriously. I don't know a lot about your hair, so maybe this'll mean nothing to you, but it falls under the category of "something". :P
