Jun. 14th, 2006 04:55 pmSo, changes to my intended schedule thanks to changes in the academic timetable. Chromatography is officially gone from my schedule because it was only there due to lackage of other options. Instead...
Fall: Selected Topics in Chemistry (10:30-11:20 MWF)- a class with Dr. Reade, which automatically gets it cool points.
Winter: Computational Chemistry (1:30-2:30 MWF, lab W 2:30-3:50?)- a topic that I feel I really ought to learn a thing or two about before I finish my undergrad. Plus, it's Dr. Ghandi.
This of course means I'm going with the 11:30-12:20 Japanese course.
Environmental Chemistry could still be taken off. Dr. Ghandi did get the tenure track position, which is exciting. They're currently looking for someone to take a nine month term position, and of course there's still the stipend courses, so it's still a bit of a wait and see thing right now.
Incidently, today's amusement:
"Students who are unable to register online due to lack of computer access should email regdesk to make alternate arrangements"
Ummm...?

I made and received somewhere around thirteen phone calls since early yesterday morning and was given the bureaucratic run around (meanwhile, the courses filled up).
You'll excuse me if I'm slightly bitter today.
