Well, got my Firefly DVDs exchanged. The new ones work and are so pretty and SHINY and I LOVE THIS SERIES! I sat down and watched a bunch yesterday. Verifying that the new DVDs work, yeeeeeees. I've now seen up to "Our Mrs. Reynolds" (LOVE! Book threatening Mal with "the SPECIAL Hell"! Inara all "I fell!" "Good Bible") I'm having a DEVIL of a time picking a favorite character though. THey're all SO awesome. And snarky. :p

Mal- Scoundrel With A HEart of Gold may be a cliche, but it's like the BESTEST CLICHE EVER! :p

Kaylee- Dude, how can I NOT love a character who says "Look at the pretties!" and points in a store window? She's so cute and fun!

Book- Okay, beyond the special Hell line, I love this guy. Snarky preacher FTW.

Simon- So awkward and out of place and awesome!

River- Insane and OMG NEED TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON and made of awesome!

Inara- She annoys Mal and that's worth it RIGHT THERE.

Zoe and Wash- So awesome. So cute. So D*MN YOU TESS!

Firefly is quite possibly the bestest best show that Fox has ever ruined. The characters were loveably snarky and the plot was totally addicting. I'm so glad you've joined the Browncoats. ^_^

Yeah, Kaylee and Simon are my two favorites. (Although some friends and I HAVE gotten into a very long conversation on whether or not Han Solo or Mal makes the better captain of a broken down old ship.) Kaylee is just so HAPPY and cheerful that she's impossible not to like. And Simon is just so adorkable that you can't help feeling sorry for him and liking him. They're so my Firefly OTP.

I love adorkable characters and happy cheerful characters and just plain insane characters and scoundrels with hearts of gold and... the entire freaking cast of Firefly. :p
