She was trying to explain the rationale behind the ship with what the characters have in common. Alas, the first reason she gave was "They're both the leader of their respective sides." This led to me shooting back with "By that logic, Hotohori and the creepy Kotou emperor are like the OTP." This freaked her out, hence emperorslash and "OMGTHEIRLOVEISSOIMPERIAL!" :p

Once we finish GW, I'll have to make you read one of them, so you can see how the hell it works. I still don't fully understand it, but it's fun and not-nearly as random as it would appear.
And still better than 5x13.
