I hate it when she's right. She always said not to go out in the sun without a hat. I went to the grocery store without a hat last night. For my trouble, I got a killer headache because I was walking into the sun most of the time. It was rather unfun. I went to bed at ten o'clock because I couldn't look at anything. Needless to say, I am wearing my red camp hat style thing today. :p

Ryan and I have been together for six months as of today. And it's all because I made him watch Pretear. :p

I got a d*mn Kei/Goh plotbunny the other day. I have no clue what I'm going to do with it once I hook them up, because I suck at romance, but there is set-up. Set-up is important, right? WHY do I keep getting romance plot bunnies? ANd why do they keep involving Kei? He's the HARDEST CHARACTER IN THE SERIES TO WRITE.

I named the compound we're trying to make in the lab "Murphy". Because the only thing it's sure to follow is Murphy's Law. :p

It took me years or nagging to figure out I really do have to wear sunscreen, a hat and cover my shoulders, or I come back looking like a lobster. The life of a redhead, I tell ya!

I only burn easily on my back. But the headaches, oy, I'm prone to headaches. It's been getting worse in the last couple of years. Migraines are the DEVIL.

And I HATE it when my mother turns out to be right. :p

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Kei is damn frustrating to write. I just can't get inside his head.

But Kei/Goh is hot!

And of course, my plot bunnies always involve Kei in situations where HE doesn't know what to do. This is why it took me months to write a one shot about Kei and the kids. Because he didn't know what to say, and therefore wasn't being helpful. I kept glaring at the page and saying "This would be so much easier if you would just LIE to them." :p

I think the trouble with Kei is that he has a hard time dealing with people and emotions. You get little hints that he cares more than he lets on, but he doesn't even do it in the same way that Hayate does. Unfortunately, it's the exact things that make him so hard to write that make him really interesting and plot bunny causing. :p

Kei and Goh just have these ODD little moments by times that make me go "Oh, WELL then..." :p

Okay, just thought I'd check.

Since the whole premise starts right after Shin comes back to life and all. :p

That night, Kei goes into Shin's room to talk to him. While he's asleep, of course. Kei tells Shin that he's proud of him, that he's a good Knight, and a good kid and he's glad he's alive. Goh overhears all this and basically goes "Wow, Kei has actual human emotions after all".

That's what's been worked out so far. :p

You're what? 20? Yeah, that's about the age you start having to go "crap, my mother was right".

I've gotten to the point where I give up arguing, and either agree, or pretend to and do what I was going to do anyway. This is made much easier by the fact that my mother is a minimum three hour drive away, and can only call me after 6:00 if she wants her long distance rate.
