yubsieYeah, I know, I'm the queen of update fail. There hasn't been much going on in my life truth be told.
Today I was making fudge for a party and I decided I might as well share the recipe. This fudge is practically idiot proof. There is no soft ball stage. The only way you can screw it up is by putting a pyrex dish on the stove top. And everyone raves about it. You want to make this fudge. And eat this fudge.
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (my mother actually gave me the recipe as it being margerine. That's how unscrewuppable this recipe is.)
1/4 cup milk
3 1/2 cups icing sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
1. Line an 8x8 pan with waxed paper. (Mom noted that if you are using a silicone pan, you can just grease it)
2. Mix sugar, cocoa and salt
3. Melt butter
4. Add milk and bring to a boil
5. Add the sugar/salt/cocoa mixture
6. Stir until smooth
7. Remove from heat
8. Add vanilla
9. Pour into pan
10. Let set in refrigerator
11. Feed to friends and make them all love you
