Remind me again why I watch Glee?

Because I sure couldn't remember last night. I eventually decided that it was like Barry Manilow wrote the episode. Or in other words, the entire second half didn't make sense. (This comparison of course only makes sense if you're familiar with the Copacabana musical...)

I'd love to remind you, but I've never been sure myself. I didn't want to punch anything after seeing this week's episode though, which is always a good week for Glee and I.

I think I watch it for the music, but that wasn't doing it for me this week.

And yes, lack of punching is always nice. But that's probably mostly because it was a leads episode so there was nothing to fail at. :p

Actually, my punchiest episode yet was a leads episode, so you know, there isn't really anything that's safe.

And really, I'm shocked that the Britney Spears episode left you less than inspired :P

Heh, which was the punchiest one? (After two leads episodes in a row I'm dying for the rest of the Glee club to start singing "Secondary Characters" from [title of show] but that would require more self awareness than this show is capable of. :p

It's almost as surprising as when the funk episode fell flat!

Artie's Very Special Dance Episode got my goat (lazy, lazy, LAZY research), but that wasn't really a lead-centric episode. My reaction to 1x18 - Rachel loses her voice - is the episode I had in mind. And then this:

lololol Glee makes the message clear in the recap: Finn introduced Sean to Rachel to prove that there are worse things than losing your voice. *facepalms*

Was my reaction to the following week's recap of the episode.

I knew Artie's dance caused ire (because... wheelchair dancing!) but iirc, that was an Artie episode anyway.

I haven't seen the episode yet (I ended up playing Spore instead XD) but this doesn't exactly inspire me to change that.

It was all Britney Spears music and it was... well, I can't say I've been terribly impressed with this season. I really don't have a clue what the frak was going on in the second half of the episode. And the first half was mostly drug induced musical numbers.

I wish I was making this up.

It's worth it for Brittany, especially her duet with Santana, and maybe if you're interested in Rachel and Finn. The rest was a bit ho hum.

I like Brittany so that part is exciting. Rachel/Finn interests me about as much as hemorrhoids XD.
