Hey... anyone want to be Simon Tam? We could really use one over at glaxcinprison. River just filled out a pscyh survey with almost every answer being "I want my brother back." And Martha and Cottle could use all the help they can get. Not to mention Tess and I would find it useful to have a doctor we can use when two of our characters are together. :p So really, we want Simon mostest, but any doctor would be awesome. How about Ton? Hobbie would love to have Ton around!

Also, I am not ashamed to beg. Pleeeeeeease? There is a time honoured Glaxcin tradition of bribing people to pick up characters using cookies. I will mail you cookies if you app Simon.

I'll have to look into it carefully. I don't want to just jump in. *_* I haven't LJ RPd in a few years, and with the game I played, I got in right at the beginning (though granted it was a third incarnation, but that didn't really matter :P). I've read through the rules and the app guidelines and stuff, but I'll want to go through and read some of the action and catch up a bit on how things work. Not to mention re-watch Firefly and Serenity because my grasp of Simon's character is not as firm as it could be. Oh, and when, canonically, did you pull River from, and how long has she been inside? If River's been gone awhile, Simon'll have probably been looking for her, yeah?

I hate you all. This looks so interesting and I can already see so much of Simon's motivation being dependent on River and, and! Let me look into it.

One of the nice things about Glaxcin is that the setup makes it pretty easy to bring in a new character. It's not like some scary established games where there's just not really a place to introduce a new character and get them meeting people.

Basically, all us Firefly people would love you forever. And Tess and I would love you extra. :p

A good chunk of the cast. Bill Adama and Tough Six from BSG, Wash, Martha from Doctor Who, Molly from Runaways, Dr. Horrible, Quark from DS9 and Death from Sandman.

Well, they initially ran into each other in a city full of zombies, so Wash found out pretty fast that he's dead. It has been causing him lots of angst. Especially since Zoe's pregnant. (Another reason we need Simon. Every time Zoe needs medical attention, we have to find a way for her to ditch Wash so she can talk to Martha, and Wash really doesn't want to be ditched. :p)

And i_paint_the_sky is Captain Hammer. :p It's great fun! They sing! And Horrible gripes about academia!

Technically I'm Didi, but it's not a huge difference. :p

River is from pre-Serenity but our Zoe is from after the movie and so River's psychicness means she knows what happened in the movie, though she doesn't quite know how much she knows.

She's been in there for awhile but because of how people are pulled in, she wouldn't have disappeared from Simon's view of things. He would wake up with no clue where he is or how he got there .
