UPS is such an adventure. I did most of my Christmas shopping at ThinkGeek.com (you know, the way all normal people do, right?). So that means customs, so they can't just drop the package off, someone needs to pay the fees.

And yet they do their deliveries when most people are at, y'know, work. :p Once Paul found the note they left (it fell off the door), I got to go scramble to tell them to hold it at the depot for me to pick up in person. Naturally the depot is only open from 5-6:30. Oh well, I usually get Ryan to pick me up from work lately anyway.

I also had a fun adventure with this week's crystallography assignment. Which consisted of... solving the crystal structure manually. When there were more peaks than atoms. But I did it!

Glee is a leads episode. I'm not as keen on leads episodes.

ThinkGeek.com is invariably awesome. Much like your icons. :D

The Rachel-crush was just painfully awkward, man; the only good thing about that whole scenario was the psychobabble talking to from Cautionary Tale. :P I liked the rest, though, even though it was kind of painful; I thought about being annoyed with Finn, but the truth would have come out eventually. There's no way to keep that a secret forever.

Also, I definitely looked up Puck's actor on IMDb just to make sure he wasn't actually seventeen; not that he looks it, but I didn't want to feel like a creeper... ¬_¬ Good news: he's two years older than me. :P

UPS sucks that way. And many other ways. And you have probably figured out who my last call centre employer was and why I feel this way, I'm sure.

I'd forgotten about thinkgeek. I went over there to rediscover it and found a gift for my brothers in law. There's a chunk of the Christmas shopping done.

My favorite part of the Glee episode was seeing Finn's mom again; she's kind of awesome. I hope we see more of her in the future.

Urgh, with Royal Mail if it's too big to fit in your letter box they'll give you this "sorry, you were out card" but loads of times... I haven't been out and I've still got a card! They don'tr take the box with them half the time. Soooo annoying ¬_¬

I really like Cautionary Tale, actually. I want her to come back, but she probably won't.

Honestly, I blame Kurt for the song incident. Kid is awesome but slightly removed from certain levels of reality. :P And Finn was so desperate for something to grab onto that he would have been easy to persuade. On the face of it, I can kind of see the logic. But still... with parents like hers? Yeah. I dunno. Even so, I mean, what do you do in that situation? You have to tell them sometime. And her dad was going to overreact no matter when they broke it to him. Though I suppose that living in her own house for a couple more months would have been preferable.
