I finally managed to get Pets for Sims 2. Took store credit from Walmart and then bought it at EB Games instead. :p

So now the Solos have all sorts of critters. They have a bird named Millenium, because I couldn't resist. They also have a boxer named Heero who is a star in show business. And they adopted a puppy... who grew up to be a POODLE. Jacen has a POODLE. :p

Apartment hunting remains frustrating. We've been trying to find a place in London, but everywhere that we call either doesn't have vacancies or expects us to show up in person. Which is kinda hard when you're a thousand kilometers away. And I don't know how I'm supposed to arrange to move all my stuff when I don't have an address to arrange to send said stuff TO. I just want a place to LIVE is that so much to ask?

Happier, I hadn't listened to this song in AGES. I just fell in love with it all over again. It's so much crack! :p

As far as apartment hunting goes...I think one of you really might have to go out to London. It's probably best to see the place first anyway.

THat would be the ideal option. It's just... kinda really expensive. We may get stuck trying desperately to find something when we head up at the end of August.
