So, I finally got my official letter from grad school. Or, as

seryan put it, the Central Bureaucracy. :p Of course, there's some confusion because the person I'd been in contact with is missing from the list of possible supervisors...

My high school chemistry teacher called today. He wanted to talk to my parents about my little brother going on a camping trip when he passed out in class today. Fogarty was very excited that I'm going to grad school in chemistry. AND he didn't call me by the wrong name, which ALWAYS impresses me. People frequently think I'm my sister on the phone. They used to think I was my brother too, before his voice changed. :p

I also played more Kingdom Hearts, which I love to itty bitty pieces. I went to Agrabah! Nostalgia ahoy! (Even if it annoys me that the female characters keep getting used as plot points for the villains to abduct...) Still, ridiculously fun game.

Though I'm already starting to hate Winnie the Pooh and his EVIL MINIGAMES OF HARD. :p

Pooh is evil. The hatred just gets worse from here. Eventually you'll find that vgcats comic where Sora vivisects Pooh-bear to be the funniest thing ever just because it means he can't send you on any more side quests.

Yeah, he's fine. He was groggy for a while, so he had to actually come home (unlike my sister who is well known for passing out in class, but comes to immediately and lies there telling the teacher that she doesn't need the response team, really), but he was making fun of my ineptitude at minigames after a few hours. :p He had some tests a few days ago, which we hope might explain why this happens periodically.

That tree! I fall out of it every time I attack the stupid bees!

I hope he feels better.

The worse mini game is that one with Tigger. And the one where you have to find all of the little morons that pooh bear hangs around with. I hate it. So much hate.

And then KH2 came along and I ended up screaming at Mulan for an entire level because she's USELESS until she stops being Ping. Worse than useless really because she doesn't help you fight AND constantly uses your items.

He's back to his usual obnoxious self now. :p

What genius thought up those minigames, HONESTLY? :p

Note to self... don't put Mulan in party. :p

I think Nomura was mad at someone during the minigame planning part of the game development. Possibly one of the game testers.

And you don't have a choice. The game forces you to put her in your party. And then they purposely lock Donald and Goofy out of the battles and you're left to fight oodles of Heartless essentially all on your own because "Ping" doesn't do anything to help. And you have to fight them quickly because she starts using items.

She starts being useful once she stops the whole cross dressing thing.

Well, now I'm mad at whoever he was mad at. :p

And that's just MEAN of them. I don't suppose there's an option to not give her any items? :p

Hee. Just wait until Kh2. I think he was on cough syrup or something for most of that game.

She still uses them. I don't know where she gets them, but she still uses them. As soon as she loses a health point. I HATE it. The only good point is that as soon as she turns back into Mulan, you gain the ability to do combos with her and she and Sora have an attack called Red Sky that takes down lots of HP. Not as much as Riku and Sora's combo move, but still quite a bit. (I love the Riku/Sora combo move. It takes down entire Hp BARS.)

And I sincerely wish Riku was allowed to help you out whle fighting Sephiroth.

We're possibly gonna go in on Final Mix + together if it comes out here. And i really want it to...i want another chance to actually beat Chain of Memories. The fact that its 3D is an added bonus ^_^

That and more Riku screentime (with his new Zexion fight and all during his part in CoM)

Words cannot express how happy I am about Final Mix. I hated the battle system in that game, but it had a good storyline.

And my favorite Nobody wasn't dead.

I just hope its not one big rumor (i mean...theres plenty of demand for it here...although demand and SE dont mix all the time).

Supposively its coming out in the fall...but theres no real solid confirmation about it...so dont take my word for it.

Actually, I saw it mentioned in a Gamepro magazine and they talked as if it were definte.

Well...until i see an official SE press release...i dont believe squat.

Marluxia's in-game fight for KH2 is pretty original. Giving you a number of hits based on your level seems like an awesome challenge.

Axel, Demyx and Xigbar are the three coolest Nobodies EVER. I hope they come back somehow.

Axel is so Reno. And Demyx is Zell. Xigbar, unfortunately, has a backstory so I can't claim he's anyone. But personally I see him as Gippal from X-2. They even have the same eyepatch!

They even have the same taste in weaponry...albiet Gippal's gun is a LOT bigger...and does a lot more.

Xaladin is basically any Dragoon character on crack. :P

Dont forget the similar 'find the pooh characters' one in KH2...with the ICE. I HATED that ice with a gorram PASSION.

Gah! The cave! I hated it. I was like "Leave him in there, Sora! He'll just show back up in Kh3!"

And isn't there a similar one in CoM too? I don't get why they keep putting that level in there. Everyone I've talked to has hated it.

My only hope if it shows back up in Kh3 is that Riku will be in your party and will be so sick of the constant stupidness that he does what we all want to do and chokes Pooh bear into oblivion. Sora will be shocked momentarily but will get over it and we'll ALL love Riku that much more.

Hmmm...there might be. Im pretty sure it was just a single minigame for it though. Which was actually MUCH worse than KH and KH2's ones put together. I mean...you literally had to drag Pooh around by the paw to get himk to go anywhere (and the mechanics were far worse than you could imagine for it too)

I really hope so too.But being a disney game and all...Im just hoping for some cooler nostalgia...like Darkwing Duck. Or some new stuff like a Kim Possible level (i mean...they got Mark and Bob to do another season...why NOT add a level :P)

I'm hoping for a Narnia level, complete with an Aslan summon.

Now THAT would be cool. I almost beat the Narnia game 100% with my roommate this past year. We just couldnt get the last few icons from the witch fight...

Heh...I just pictured Rufus as a summon. Now thatd be the new stitch.

What else did Disney do?

Theres always Tail Spin/Jungle Book to do, as well as Gummi Bears (my other rommate got the first 3 seasons for her b-day...and it created the image of Sora drinking gummi berry juice and splitting the earth with his keyblade engrained in my head). They could also do a visit to Merlin's world and have us go through SitS with Aurthur (cant remember the name they gave him to start out with though).

OH! And the Robin Hood movie they did with the animal characters! So many ideas. ^_^

And yet they keep reusing Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and that frickin' Pooh level. It irks me.

Although I'm cool with Atlantic if they keep it cracktastic like Kh2. Every game should have a level that has you alternately laughing and staring at the screen in disbelief.

Well...to be perfectly honest with respect to Aladin and B&B...they have 3 movies for the first that they can use for new storyline and only had

Agreed...as long as they dont have you SWIMMING in Atlantica again. BLEGH! I hated that! They could have song stuff for the other princess's levels though (Snow white would be fun..HI HO!...or if they wanted to add in the FF dwarves....LALI HO!)

GAH! I hate swimming. I am not coordinated, even in the video game world, to swim and fight at the same time. Ariel totally saved me in that world. I just sort of hung back and let her do everything.

Song stuff for Lilo and Stitch! Because Sora singing Elvis songs would be awesome.

I seriously want to hear Haley Joel Osment sing Elvis songs. I was suprised he made it though "Under the Sea" without cracking up.

I keep listening for SOME scene somewhere for the script writers to pop in 'I see dead people".

It would make for an amusing cover thats for certain.

Halloween Town would have been perfect. I don't know why they put that in there.

Given the fact that Hayden Pattinerre, Kairi's VA, is now Claire the Indestructible Cheerleader on Heroes, the fact that she makes a comment about "I can fight too, I don't break!" makes me crack up.

XD Thats great! Now i hafta at least watch Heroes once. Im all for superhero cheerleaders ^_^

Heroes is crack, pure and simple. You spend each episode staring at the tv and going "That was NOT an hour of television."

Or "NOOOO! THEY CAN'T END IT THERE!"

And it helps that over half the cast is very, very, VERY pretty.
